Class Descriptions

Active Isolated Stretching + Weights

M at 4-5:15 p.m., W and F at 8:30-9:45 am and

Th 7:00-8:30 p.m.

Gain flexibility and muscle strength as you stretch every muscle in your body with Active Isolated Stretching™ (AIS). This carefully constructed program of stretching exercises promotes wellness by increasing tissue elasticity and joint range of motion. AIS is beneficial for recovery from injuries, arthritis, stiffness and stress relief. Light weight training helps prevent osteoporosis and promotes muscle strength. Whether you suffer from a frozen shoulder or have lower-back problems, specialized AIS techniques can help. You’ll also get energized with AIS therapeutic exercises.

Integral Yoga

M at 6:15– 7:45 p.m.

This class is a journey through the various Hatha Yoga styles popular today. Great and loving focus is placed on skillful alignment, breath synchronized movement, and on discovering the peaceful warrior within. While the posture practice changes from class to class (mimicking the unpredictability of day to day living), the overall class sequence always stays truthful the vision of Integral Yoga: Centering in the present moment, warm-up routine, asana practice, guided deep relaxation, breathing practice and closing meditation. Yoga Level 2

Sun. 4:30-6:00 p.m.

Get ready for the week ahead and clear your mind and prepare the body for the stress of the work week. This a more rigorous class working up to some challening poses if desired. The focus is on moving safely with awareness and concentration on the flowing of your breath. Some previous yoga experience recommended.

Yoga for Athletes

Tuesday 6:00-7:15 p.m.

Tight hamstring? Sore backs? Tight quads from biking? This class is geared for those that want a very physical yoga practice and want to stretch deeply while maintaining proper alignment. The older we get the more important it is to keep the body flexible and the muscles balanced and healthy. Yoga is a great way to prevent injury from the stress of an intensive and repetitive sport or activity. Yoga is also great for stress reduction and focusing the mind and increasing the awareness of the breath in your activity. Every posture is demanding yet accessible to both the beginner and advanced student.

Kids Yoga

Wednesday, 4:30-5:15 p.m. (6-week session starts on 4/14) $35 please pre pregister

Kids Yoga is designed for kids 5-10 years of age who are interested and exploring yoga and having loads of fun. They will get all the benefits of yoga but the focus is on learning poses and enjoying a playful atmosphere: Roar like a lion, and stand tall as a tree , hiss like a cobra. Yoga for kids is a great non competitive environment where kids can feel good and grow strong.

Peaceful Yoga

T and Th at 8:30- 9:45 a.m.

Breathing, gentle stretching and deep relaxation characterize this practice designed to gradually build flexibility and strength, and reduce stress. Great for beginners and those who need a gentler class or those recovering from injury or illness. The focus of this class is making the poses fit your body's present needs by making suitable adjustments

Yoga Flow

Sun. 10:00-11:15 am

A class more for the experienced yoga student where we will work with the poses of yoga to tone, strengthen and increase your focus.  The poses will be sequenced in a fluid progression that will promote balance, increase heart rates, flexibility and body awareness. Challenging balance postures and restful restorative poses will be sprinkled in as needed.

Hatha Yoga Level 1-2

M at 8:30-9:45 a.m. and W at 6:00 - 7:15 p.m.


Beginners and intermediate yogis are welcome in this class where we will be working on basics and growing our practice depending on your level. This class will help you understand the proper alignment in the asana to increase your ability to relax in each pose. The focus is on creating deeper awareness and breath work and meditation.

Pilates Mat Class

M and W at 10:00-11:00 a.m.,

T and Th at 4:30-5:30 p.m.,

Pilates mat exercises encourage greater body awareness and greater strength. The mat class helps students increase strength and flexibility of the core muscles (abdominals and back), creating more length and tone of the muscles. Helps with improving posture, flexibility and strength of all core muscles. We use light weights, and stability balls and bands to help you find your core muscles and improve balance. We provide all balls and weights.

Friday Happy Hour Yoga

Fridays at 6:00 - 7:15 p.m.

Beginners and intermediate yogis welcome. This is a fun way to celebrate the start of the weekend. Try this class for Free on Nov. 6. The class is a fun and exuberant way to release the stress of the work week and add more fun to your life.

Prenatal Yoga

Sat 12:15-1:15

Create greater ease and joy in the body as you move through pregnancy, labor and delivery. Learn appropriate stretches, breathing techniques and relaxation methods in a supportive environment. Prenatal yoga can help womend who are suffering from tiredness, back pain and neck stiffness. Women may also enjoy better over health and strengthening of the lower body and learn techniques to help with the discomforts of pregnancy.
